Critically acclaimed jazz guitarist and Premonition Records artists Bobby Broom and John McLean will perform a special benefit concert on Tuesday, March 12 at the McAnnish Arts Center at the College of DuPage. The proceeds from this show, organized by Phi Theta Kappa and the International Society of Two-Year Colleges and sponsored by WDCB, will aid the Twin Towers Orphan Fund (http://www.ttof.org). The Twin Towers Orphan Fund was announced and established on September 13, 2001 to benefit children orphaned (any child who lost one or both parents) by the national disasters of September 11. All donations are used to provide for the long-term well-being of those children, including educational assistance, and mental and physical health care.
Both Bobby Broom and John McLean have volunteered their musical talents for this noble and philanthropic cause.
